China Jiangshan RAS Aquaculture Rural Revitalization Pilot Project

Phased Implementation:Phase I covers an 80-mu production facility, with partial operation scheduled for January 2026 and an annual output of 1.25 million jin of antibiotic-free freshwater grouper. Phase II includes a 40-mu breeding workshop, planned for construction in the second half of 2025, with an annual production capacity of 12 million freshwater grouper fry. Phase III covers a 4-mu production facility, planned for construction in the second half of 2026, with an annual output of 1.5 million jin of freshwater grouper.
Constant-Temperature Breakthrough:The facility adopts a fully enclosed four-layer film and double-arch structure combined with steam heating, maintaining the workshop temperature at around 28°C year-round. This breaks seasonal production limitations and enables continuous annual farming.
Antibiotic-Free Assurance:The system uses ultraviolet and ozone disinfection. No antibiotics or hormones are used throughout the entire farming process. The products have passed third-party antibiotic-free certification, ensuring safer and more reliable quality.
High Efficiency and Energy Saving:The water recycling rate reaches over 95%, and the farming density per unit area is 30 times higher than that of traditional outdoor ponds. Transportation costs are reduced by 80% compared with coastal products.

Economic Benefits:After all three phases are fully put into operation, the project is expected to generate an annual output value of over RMB 15 million, with unit-area returns far exceeding those of traditional outdoor pond farming.
Industry Value:Build an efficient, eco-friendly, and antibiotic-free benchmark for industrial aquaculture, promoting the transformation and upgrading of the aquaculture industry from traditional outdoor pond farming to a modern farming model.
Market Value:Rooted in the Sichuan-Chongqing region, the project offers lower transportation costs and higher product freshness. It fills the gap in large-scale supply of antibiotic-free fish and shrimp in Southwest China, meeting consumers’ demand for safe and reliable aquatic products.
